I studied lithography, etching and block printing during six years at Art School; my tutors at Camberwell included Frank Martin and Michael Rothenstein.

Five years ago I acquired and renovated an 1861 Albion Press, and after installing it in my studio resumed making linocuts. I have produced editioned prints for specific outlets, and small editions for exhibition.

In the course of my painting I also experiment with uneditioned waste-block prints, when every copy is different. I recently produced a series of themed prints for a harbourside restaurant as part of a redesigning and refurbishment project.

The current Pilgrim's Progress exhibition also includes a number of small uneditiioned prints.
